Foods Eaten In America That Originated From Cuba

  • Authentic Cuban food is served up from the melting pot of authentic traditional recipes from the four continents of South America, Africa, North America and Europe. Cuban cooking combines these cuisines to produce a very tasty, flavor rich, unique style of combining of recipes and ingredients, cooking and serving these treats.

  • Typical Cuban foods include black beans, white rice, yellow rice, citrus marinades, garlic, and fried sliced banana (plantain). Olive oil and garlic marinades are often used as sauces. Cuban food is mostly eaten in Florida since they are really close to each other and the Spanish had settle their a long time ago.
